Hip Dysplasia is a genetic disease that affects the hip joints of dogs, Labradors are prone to this which makes
it very important to only buy puppies from breeders that have had both the mother and father hip scored. It is
also important to ask the actual score. The British veterinary association and the Kennel club recommend you
do not breed a Labrador with a total hip score of 16 or more.I would not, and would recommend that anybody
should buy a puppy from a breeder that either the mother, or the father has a total hip score of (16 or more for Labs and 18
or more for Poodles).
There are thousands of Labrador and Doodle breeds born every year in the UK. The more people that refuse to buy from
poor or non tested stock the sooner we will start to rid our much loved dogs of this horrible and debilitating fate that can be
so easily screened.
Exactly the same goes for Poodles and Labradoodles etc Poodles as a breed can also suffer from Hip Dysplasia making the
cross just as much needing testing as a pure Labrador.

BVA Eye testing
It is also important that both parents have been checked with the BVA via there eye testing scheme, again its just simple
tests that can make the world of difference to their offspring. They test for inherited eye disease's specifically to the
Labrador breed for Mum and Poodle for Dad.
Labradoodles
Labradoodles are a wonderful family breed. They have a wonderful easy going nature are
friendly, intelligent and have lots of patience when it comes to children.

Update 5/2/12
Hi to all the new families so far, just a quick update to say hi and let you know Bea and eight are all doing great.
They are a little young for collars as yet but i have done a mini action video taken today below (well as action as i could
get at this age!)
But they really are doing wonderful and their coats are already coming on a treat by eight weeks they are going to be
proper little doodles.
Another week and i will do another video once their collars are on and they are a little more active but hopefully this will
keep you all going. Also a couple of nice little close up pics taken today.

This litter are all reserved.
Pedigree Puppy World
Also a quick note to let you know the little ones will be eating
Pedigree Puppy Complete
There is a bag in their puppy pack but just in case you wanted to get some in
ready. We have found the Eukanuba puppy we feed to Springerdoodles on
far to rich for Labradors and Pedigree seems to suit both Labs and
Labradoodles tums!

There site is also very good for lots of hints and tips link below.
Update 16/2/12
Hi To all the new families. At last the babies are big enough for their little collars and unusually they have taken to
them quite well.

As you will see from the little video below they are growing fast, all doing really well and already pretty interested
in food!

Bea has done an amazing job so far she is she a gentle girl, even now they are up and about and all over her she
just gives them a lick and lays there. They are getting quite sharp baby teeth now i am not sure i would be quite
so patient!

It will be lovely to meet some of you Sunday and for those who are to far to pop in for a little while i have done you
a nice little action video below.
Video below at last.!
