HIP SCORING
Hip Dysplasia is a genetic disease that affects the hip joints of dogs, Labradors are prone to this which makes
it very important to only buy puppies from breeders that have had both the mother and father hip scored. It is
also important to ask the actual score. The British veterinary association and the Kennel club recommend you
do not breed a Labrador with a total hip score of 16 or more.I would not, and would recommend that anybody
should buy a puppy from a breeder that either the mother, or the father has a total hip score of 16 or more.
There are thousands of Labradors born every year in the UK. The more people that refuse to buy from poor or non tested stock the
sooner we will start to rid our much loved dogs of this horrible and debilitating fate that can be so easily screened.

BVA Eye testing
It is also important that both parents have been checked with the BVA via there eye testing scheme, again its just simple tests that can
make the world of difference to there offspring. They test for inherited eye disease's specifically to the Labrador breed. All our Labradors
have fully clear eye tests.
One of the most popular breeds in the UK, the Labrador Retriever is loyal, loving, affectionate and patient, making great family dogs.
Highly intelligent, good-natured, very willing and eager to please, they are among the top choices for service dog work and love to play.

These lovely dogs have an excellent, reliable, temperament and are friendly, superb with children and with other dogs. They love human
companionship.
